Corporate Bankruptcy
If the problem is significant it may be necessary for the directors to assign the company into bankruptcy. The company's directors would have to agree that this is necessary before an assignment can be filed. This may be the best option if the company has experienced a large drop in revenues, incurred ongoing operating losses or has been the victim of a criminal act.
